I have been using this for awhile now for both me and the diva and it works great! NO frizz whatsoever, this has replaced my old t shirt method for sure!

Acne Treatment

Hello Ladies,
 Some of you may or may not know that I suffer from acne, yes still at age 30 :( Sad isn't it I thought acne was supposed to go away once you were out of your teens, but not for me! I have in the past talked about my different methods I have used to treat my acne. Various methods for cleansing my face from the oil method to what I am currently using now which is African Black Soap.

I came across this site Tanda Skin Care that offers a new way to combat your acne with light therapy. I am interested in this and will be doing more research but from what I have read so far it states the light therapy is works better than Benzoyl Peroxide and it doesn't cause the usual flakiness, dryness or irritation that some new products cause when you first try them.

What is your method for clearing your acne?
Do you have any tips or tricks you can share?

Cute Simple Kid's Nail Art

Whenever the diva sees me doing my nails she instantly decides that she wants hers done too :) So I decided to give her a cute and simple nail art design that is kid friendly.

I used the following colors:

excuse the chewed up cap, blame my dog :(

Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear in Sugar Bare and Pink Boa along with L.A. Colors Art Deco in White (not pictured)

So I painted two coats of Sugar Bare on all of her nails and then starting with the thumbs and skipping one finger I painted dots on her nails using my dotting tool purchased from Born Pretty using the Pink Boa, then I went over the pink dots with smaller white dots using the Art Deco.

She loved it!

Trim Down Thursdays: My Fitness Pal

Hello There!
 For this week's addition of Trim Down Thursdays I thought I would talk about something that has helped me immensely. My Fitness Pal is a free calorie counter, there is even a free downloadable app for your phone! I was introduced to this by my co worker and used it faithfully when we were doing our diet challenge :) I inputted my current weight and what my goal weight was and it showed me how many calories I should eat per day based on how many pounds I wanted to lose per week.

You can track your foods, you weight and add friends to help encourage you along the way. If you haven't already I suggest you check it out!

3 Twisted Connected Ponytails

Hello There!
 I remixed this style 3 ponytail braid out after a couple of days of wear. I twisted each ponytail and connected them to each other and the last remaining ponytail I made two 3 strand twists.

3 Ponytail Braid Out

Hello Ladies,
 Here is a simple and quick hairstyle, I made three ponytails going vertically down the diva's head, I braided two braids in each ponytail and let them sit overnight. The next morning I took the braids down for a braid out.
