Soooo the other day I was shopping at Target and I came across the best deal ever!

Allow me to introduce you too my new work shoes!

I love the ruffle design, and they are comfy! The heel isn't too high which is great for me and the best part

These shoes were on clearance and I paid a whopping $5.98 for them woo-hoo yay me!

I am actually a little late on this, I should have done this in Dec. but time slipped by.

Pine Bros Softish Throat Drops: Review

I received a pack of Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops for review in Wild Cherry and Natural Honey

The drops are soft almost like a gummy bear which I like as well as my hubby and kids, they are so soft and chewy it's very tempting to chew them instead of sucking on them like the directions say to do so. The flavors are not too strong and they don't have that medicine-y feel like most sore throat drops do which is a plus in my book!

The drops did help to temporary relieve minor sore throat pains with my son, husband and myself.

Each pack contains 26 drops
Ingredients: (Wild Cherry)
Active Ingredient: Glycerin 65mg. Other ingredients: Gum Acacia, Sugar, Corn Syrup, Water, Citric Acid, Natural Flavors, Sunflower Oil, Colored with Elderberry Concentrate, Carnauba Wax

I am not particularly fond of the sugar and corn syrup in these drops so I would definitely have to limit how many my children ate.

DIY Decorating: Reupholstered Chairs

My cousin was gifted 5 dining room chairs and they weren't in the best condition, she wanted me to help her reupholster them and I happily agreed!

Here is the chair before:

Pretty Stained 

The original material on the chairs was a beige brush suede

We went shopping for new fabric at Joann's and since she has an active 2 year old she opted for a vinyl material that can easily be wiped off.

Here is the process:

I unscrewed the the padded part from the frame of the chair cut out enough vinyl fabric to cover and then stapled the vinyl material over and screwed the padded part back onto the chair frame

Here is the finished project:

I used just under 2 yards of vinyl fabric and she spent a total of $53 for the fabric, a heavy duty staple gun and extra staples.

A quick and simple fix to give the chairs a new look and new life!

Here is the table with the chair all put together

My next project is to re-stain her table legs to match the chairs (That will be at a later date and another post)

I picked out the place mats to match from Target for $2.47 each

I received a bottle of Water Colors water-based nail enamel in Burlesque and a small bottle of Nail Polish remover (acetone-free).

I love the nail color it is a gorgeous deep pink with a shimmery undertone, the color went on smoothly and evenly. I was surprised by how fast the polish dried, the only thing that I noticed that was different about this polish than regular nail polish is the smell, it's a little different :)

The diva loves getting her nails painted so she was super excited to see this new shade.
