**I was sent a box of Success Jasmine Rice for the purpose of this review, however as always all thoughts and opinions remain my own**
Hey Guys,
Is there something in life that you’ve always wanted to try or you tell yourself that one day you are going to try something. I am so like that with a lot of things in life, one of them being stepping outside of the box when it comes to my cooking and the things I use to cook.
I’ve always used just plain old regular white rice, occasionally brown rice but never anything besides those two. So when the opportunity presented itself to try Success Jasmine Rice I was excited because this was one of the things I told myself I would try one day.
About: Success® Thai Jasmine Rice is a fragrant, aromatic or scented long grain rice now available in a boil-in-bag. Grown in the highlands of Thailand for centuries, rain-fed Jasmine Rice was cultivated for the royalty of the kingdom of Siam. Named after the sweet smelling jasmine flower of Southeast Asia, Jasmine Rice has a naturally distinctive scent, released during the cooking process, likened to a flowery perfume.
Jasmine Rice is known for its whiteness and aroma. When cooked it is soft and fluffy with a taste that enhances traditional spices of Oriental cuisine.
Success Thai Jasmine Rice is imported from Thailand — enjoy this aromatic and delicious rice as an ingredient with your next “rice” recipe, or just as a side-dish at mealtime.
This rice cooks in 10 minutes and comes in a bag. You just add the bag of rice to a pot of boiling water and in a few minutes you have tender tasty rice! I love the taste, it tastes a little different than regular white rice, it also has a sweet flavor, just a little hint to me anyway. In the box you get 4 bags of rice I found that I needed to cook 2 bags at once to feed my family of four. The rice didn’t clump or stick together and was nice and fluffy!
Right now iVillage, the largest online content-driven community for women, is currently partnering with Success and is featuring easy recipes on their website like Pineapple Thai Rice and Honey Ginger Baked Salmon.
Right now you can save $0.50 on your next purchase of Success Jasmine Rice
