Hey Guys,
So once again I fell behing 
sorry guys. But don’t fret I am back and today’s topic fear, what is your biggest fear?
I am a big ole’ scare-dy cat so I have lots of fears, like earthquakes happening at night when I’m sleep and it’s dark and I have on some crap pj’s. Driving up a mountain is pretty high on the list of fears, dying I think it’s the unknown of what happens after you die that I fear the most. Someone breaking into my home in the middle of night when I’m sleep and the hubby is working graveyard. But the number one fear I have is not protecting my children from harm or injury like child predators, you just hear all these horror stories on the news and it freaks me out!
Do you have any fears?
So are they TRUE fears or just… things you think about and/or consider. I mean, I would fear something happening to my children but I’m not AFRAID…. if that makes sense.
Oh I get it makes total sense and I am truly afraid of that. Especially when my kids go to a friend’s house even if I know the parents and feel comfortable I am never 100% comfortable and I freak out a little inside until they are back home with me.
I totally understand how you feel about the kids being back home with you….I am the same way.
I completely feel you on the driving up a mountain. I had no idea I was worried about it until we took a trip to Gatlinburg and the cabin had a spectacular view but the drive up the mountain had me wishing I was blindfolded. I don’t have children but I am all to aware of the dangers they face as when they’re out in the world. I wish it wasn’t like that.
A lot of people sleep naked and I’ve never been able to. Why? Because I’m afraid there will be a fire and I won’t be able to get clothes on in time. So I get your earthquake thing.
We don’t really deal with natural disasters where I live. Boise is really protected by the mountains so there are no tornadoes. We’re far enough inland that we don’t have to worry about hurricanes or tsunamis. No major fault lines anywhere near. Sometimes the river runs a little high, but not enough to cause major flooding. I suppose we’re pretty lucky!
Well yes I’d say you are lucky!
Losing loved ones is # 1 for me! So I am going to do my best to love and enjoy them while I can.
