Do You Dust?

I recently began focusing on the diva's ends more and "dusting" them more often. I would say I dust her ends at least once a week or once every two weeks. Her hair tends to split easily at the ends I've noticed and to help control this, dusting is a great method.Dusting your ends or sometimes called search & destroy involves grabbing a small section of hair and looking for split or damaged ends and cutting them using hair shears right before the point of the split and/or damage. I take a section of about 10-15 strands of hair and go through that section and look for the damaged ends. You will not lose any length by doing this method as you are merely cutting the split end, this method is great to catch split ends or damaged ends before they travel up the hair shaft and cause further damage to your hair. This is also a great alternative to cutting your hair and can help you in between trims. This method can be used on all hair types, curly, kinky, coily, wavy, or straight!I … [Read more...]

Pine Bros Softish Throat Drops: Review

pine_bros_main

I received a pack of Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops for review in Wild Cherry and Natural Honey The drops are soft almost like a gummy bear which I like as well as my hubby and kids, they are so soft and chewy it's very tempting to chew them instead of sucking on them like the directions say to do so. The flavors are not too strong and they don't have that medicine-y feel like most sore throat drops do which is a plus in my book! The drops did help to temporary relieve minor sore throat pains with my son, husband and myself. Each pack contains 26 drops Ingredients: (Wild Cherry) Active Ingredient: Glycerin 65mg. Other ingredients: Gum Acacia, Sugar, Corn Syrup, Water, Citric Acid, Natural Flavors, Sunflower Oil, Colored with Elderberry Concentrate, Carnauba Wax I am not particularly fond of the sugar and corn syrup in these drops so I would definitely have to limit how many my children ate. You can purchase these drops on their website as well as the following … [Read more...]

Mocha Rose Creations was created by Nikki who is also the owner and author Intermittent Babbling where she discuss and documents hair young daughter's natural hair journey.Nikki says: I started Mocha Rose Creations because I love making bows for my daughter and all of my friend's daughters. Baby O has a lot of say in the ribbons I make, she goes with me to the craft store to pick out spools of ribbon and she helps me put together different color combinations! Baby O also inspired the name "Mocha Rose" because she's my little mocha rose girl with the curly hair. She wears some kind of hair bow everyday, because I love seeing girly-girls like Baby O rockin' some kind of hair accessories!I absolutely love Mocha Rose Creations, her bows are made with such great quality and attention to detail, me and the diva can't get enough of them! Here is my Mocha Rose Creation bow this past Christmas! So cute right?!?!? I received so many compliments on this bow.And here is the diva wearing … [Read more...]
