So I started Diva Locks in Jan 2011 (we are turning one next month yay!) and I didn't start monetizing my blog until about Aug 2011. I started with Blogvertise as my very first method, I then added Google adsense, Social Spark, and Sponsored Tweets. While I still use all of these as ways to monetize my blog and of course some work better than others. Social Spark and Blogvertise have worked really well for me and continue to be my top earners. Although those work well for me I am still itching to try some new ways to monetize my blog. So in 2012 I will be looking for other avenues to monetize, preferably ones that I don't have to pay for :)I recently heard about gigcoin from a blogging buddy and decided to join, it was free to do so.
