Curly Bows

I have always wanted to make these and so I googled for a tutorial and found one! I think they came out pretty good, next time I will add more ribbon for a fuller bow, but not so bad for my first try.I took two dowels and sprayed them with water from a bottle, then wrapped my ribbon around each one and then secured the ends with sprayed down clothes pin (spray with water so they don't burn in the oven) I put them in the oven on a baking sheet lined with foil at 250 degrees for 25 min. I let them completely cool and then removed the ribbon from the dowels and cut them 4 times, then burn the ends to secure and then tied together with thread and hot glued on a clip.  Enjoy! … [Read more...]
