Chloraseptic Sore Throat Drops & Pops: Review

Chloraseptic Warming Sore Throat Lozenges soothe the throat with a warming sensation, they are available in Green Tea and Honey Lemon flavors. In addition to real honey the lozenges also contain benzocaine which help numb the pain and temporarily reduce irritation. Chloraseptic Medicated Sore Throat Lollipops have a great taste according to my 10 year old son :) They are available in a 10 count box of individually wrapped pops with a wide variety of flavors including grape, strawberry and orange. This kid friendly formula provides fast-acting relief as it soothes sore throat and mouth pain on contact. My kids love these pops from the kid friendly packaging  to the design of the pop that makes them think they are sucking on an actual lollipop rather than taking medicine. The pop retail for $3.99 for a 10 count box and the warming drops are available in an 18ct package with a suggested retail price of $3.99 Do you use Chloraseptic Sore Throat products? If so what has been your … [Read more...]

Modest Clothing: Can still be fun and fashionable

With Summer time right around the corner it's time to start thinking about or planning out your wardrobe! I have already seen countless commercials on TV advertising this summer's hottest fashions and designs. Most of these fashions sadly, weren't what I am looking for, which is modest clothing. While most of those clothes were very cute, my problem is what if you don't feel comfortable showing that much skin? Granted it will be hot especially where I live any day between August through October is usually unpleasant to put it nicely. However, I am not 100% completely comfortable with my body to wear teeny weenie shorts or barely there tops. Even some womens sweaters are a little too revealing for me. I need a little more coverage and I have found that with the right material of clothing and some great accessories I don't have to compromise. I can still be fun, flirty, cute, stylish, cool and fashionable as any other gal I see, all while being 100% confident and comfortable in … [Read more...]

Beauty Spoon: Review

I was so excited to try The Beauty Spoon because I can't tell you how many bottles I have thrown away that still have just enough product in it for one or maybe two more uses. But sadly I had no way of getting to that great product trapped at the end of a huge bottle I couldn't cut open, that is until now my friends!  The pack comes with 2 different sized beauty spoons, one is 7 inches and the other is 10 inches, so between the two you should be able to use them in virtually any sized bottle!  The flex stems allow you to scoop all the product out along the sides and bottom, and the contoured spoon allows you to retain what you scooped up! Here is a bottle of one of my fav conditioners  I had maybe this much left in the bottle ----------- ----------- No matter how much shaking I did upside down nothing was coming out of the opening. This is how much I was able to get out using the beauty spoon  About 5 spoonfuls, just enough to do my son's hair :) You can … [Read more...]

California Skin Institute

California Skin Institute or CSI (he he he) I had to chuckle, as whole is made up of a merger of six well-known and respected dermatology practices to create the largest dermatology practice group that specializes in medical, surgical, and pathology services in Northern California. The practice includes 20 board certified physicians, one nurse practitioner, and 3 physician assistants whose combined expertise covers a full spectrum. The group was formed in 2007 and has offices San Jose/Los Gatos, Mountain View, Los Altos, San Mateo, San Francisco, Saratogaand a San Bruno dermatologist office. CSI offers a range of great cosmetic procedures including fillers, face and neck procedures, skin, laser, body, and hair procedures. They also offer multiple surgical procedures as well such as reconstructive, facial, body, laser and many others. I know for me personally after having two kids my body is definitely not what it used to be and there are number of things I would … [Read more...]
